The most important aspect of any project is safety. To ensure the safety of our Team Members, and those entering our work area, Mahaffey has a robust safety program that is compliant with all OSHA standards and best industry practices. Team Members are OSHA 30 trained and regularly participate in the following trainings, among others:
- Fall Protection;
- Forklift;
- Heat Illness Prevention;
- Rigging;
- Securing and Transporting Loads;
- Signaling;
- Silica; and,
- Situational Awareness.

To ensure our fleet remains up-to-date on all maintenance and is safe for operation, we complete daily inspections on all heavy equipment and vehicles. Along with completing our Job Hazard Analysis, Daily Task Analysis, and safety inspections, we participate in daily Toolbox Talks. All trainings and safety forms are electronically submitted on a daily basis and actively monitored by our Safety Officer.
